I came back to my hometown again on this Thursday, 28/08/2008..
As i had gave my words to my friends that i would bring them to eat pizza during my college holiday, which i din't make it later..and so, today i had asked my friends out for Pizza Hut at Parit Buntar....
After bathing, i drove my car to pick my friends. Pizza was crowded with people the moment we reached there, but fortunately we could find a table for 5 of us. We had ordered some pizzas and started to chit chat about while waiting for the food.. We had taken some photos while waiting for the food.. We were getting fuss as the food was not served after we wasted for about 25 minutes. Me and my friend, Chris, ( mischievous us) started to make noises(not too loud ) to get some attention!!After some time, the food finally came. I was quite enjoyed the pizza, probably i didn't have my dinner before that. HQ ordered a pizza to take away. And then we left Pizza Hut.
On the way back, we saw some traffic polices who were monitoring roads because the traffic would get jammed during the Merdeka countdown...HAH!!I waited for a traffic light and then the traffic police led me to another road which had been blocked!!!! Damn it....I wonder why the police led me to that road even though he knew that the road had been blocked...I had to cross the round about and waited for another traffic light...
I was around 10.30pm when we reached Nibong Tebal(our hometown). We found the night was still young, then I suddenly recalled that there was a countdown at Auto-city. All of us agreed the plan, then we continued our journey to Auto-city...Hehe. I love to drive at highyway because i can drive fast...
As we arrived the place, Autocity had been crowded with enthusiastic people. There was a "mini concert" that "accompany" the crowd to count down. I dont know most of the singers of the concert and if i am not wrong, there were - Lin Jian Hui(xing guang), Guan XIn yan....We managed to watch Lin's performance only as we arrived quite late. After he sang, it was already 12am.. KK(not me, but Malaysia famous DJ ) and another emcee invited the Auto city's authorities to watch the fireworks at the stage.. Our sight was partly blocked by the KFC building, but i still managed to take several photos and video.Again, we had taken photos of 5 of us celebrating at Autocity. After the fireworks show, we watched a dancing performace, which was not quite interesting and we decided to leave before the traffic get too crowded. As we left the place, we could hear the crowd sing along with the emcees "THE AUTO CITY SONG"...It was quite funny.. The whole song just " NA..na ... na .....AUTO city" ( repeated many times) .
When we were back to Nibong Tebal, it was already 1am. I sent my friends home and bye to them...

I have never been any countdown party before and tonight's event was just an "ok" for me..
Anyway, Malaysia, HAPPY 51st birthday!! MERDEKA!!MERDEKA!!MERDEKA!!

No pain, No gain

Smile 'R' Us Dental Clinic

Today i have went to "One Stop" with my friends. We took bus there, so we had to wake up early in the morning. After taking ferry to Penang, it started to rain. I was quite regretting of not bringing my umbrella. We took another bus to 1Stop. Fortunately, by the time we reached there, the rain had stopped.

After that, we headed to our main destination - " Smile 'R' Us" (weird name, huh?) - dental clinic. Me and another friend,HQ had our first appointment with the dentist. We want to have orthodontic treatment for our crooked teeth.><. The dentist checked for our teeth and gave us some explanations that he needed to remove some of our teeth. It was lunch time after the checking. The clinic was temporarily closed and we went for our lunch.

All of us are rarely going to 1Stop, so we were quite unfamiliar with the places. We walked around the mall to finally we found a restaurant. We just had a simple meal there. After that we went to Popular before going back to the clinic.

My friend had her treatment first and I had dozed off waiting for my turn. When it came to my turn, I started to feel nervous. I never had my teeth removed since standard 2. I dare not to see the needle when the dentist started to inject drugs into my mouth. It wasnt just an injection, in fact, "INJECTIONS". I closed my eyes during the process and said to myself "it is going to over soon". After that, he started to work on my teeth!! He used a scissor like thing to remove my teeth. I had several quick peeks and closed my eyes again when he twisting and pulling out my teeth. Finally, it came to the last tooth ( i had 4 teeth removed). However, it was the most difficult tooth to be removed compared to the other 3. I clenched my fists when the dentist twisted several times the tooth before pullig it out. Phewww....It was over already. Me and HQ confirmed our next appointemnets before leaving the clinic.

We met the other before leaving the mall. Me and HQ actually had to "watch" our friends enjoying themselves in KFC, becaue we just had the surgery. I had not much to buy at the mall. I just bought a "pencil beg" and a phone top-up card before leaving.

I have to eat something soft before I can get used with the whole adjustment that had done in my mouth. I will only have the dental braces put on my teeth during my 3rd treatment.
