Sunway Carnival Mall

Sakae Sushi (a.k.a, Sakai Sushi by Miss MW)

Thursday, 10 December 2009

It was my first time to go there after it opens for quite some time already. Yea, that's me. Even I am a Penangite, I am not familiar at all with Penang. But I think this condition has profoundly improved after I go to Kl to study.

Well, actually the shopping was unplanned. It was just my sudden whim. So, I got out my handset and sms my friends. After discussing about the places we wanted to go, then I went to pick them up.

After about an hour time and listening to my Mariah Carey's lates cd, we finally arrived at our destination. I parked at the roadside under the shade of trees. The mall is just like other Penang shopping malls. They are not huge compared to those in KL.

Miss MW and I went to dine in Sakae Sushi (which she called "sakai sushi") first before indulging ourselves with other 3 friends with the romantic fairy tale story movie - Princess and The Frog. Like other Disney Princesses Stories, the story began by telling how a girl- Tiana, who dreams to own a luxurious restaurant which was his dad's wish too. She has to go through plights before the happily ever after ending. Haha... I am lazy to write the review of the movie. Just the usual scenes like wishing upon an evening star, the cliched happily ever after ending and the kiss that may turn the ugly frog into a charming prince - well this time, the story is changed abit ( or else why they have to remake the story?). Instead of turning the frog into a Prince, Tiana's kiss has transformed her into a frog as well! There are many funny scenes too such as a gramma firefly that uses crutches to support herself, a fat and timorous alligator (or crocodile) who dreams to be an entertainer of an instrument (dunno what the instrument name), and more.

Next we went to shopping. I bought one grid-patterned shirt, a white belt and a pair of new shoes which is white colour too ( my fav colour). Then, we took some photos with the decorations in front of the shopping mall before heading back home.

P/s: I found a traffic summon for parking without showing the parking coupon. So, we just shared the fine.

H.A.T.E.U again

My friend just sent me my first semester result. It was diabolical. I got one C- for my Thermodynamic subject. I have to retake the subject. Others are either B or B-. I had really loused up my examination. But no body is to be blamed because it is due to my own laziness. I must strive laboriously for better result for next semester. Now I can only pray that the result he sent me is not official one. And the grade C- may be raised to at least C so that i don't have to retake the subject.
Pray hard....
I don't know how to tell my parents yet...

P/S:Sis please shut up your big mouth if you see this post. I will tell them this news by myself.

Thursday (19/11/2009)

It has been more than a month I have not updated my blog because I have been busy( not quite so, I played a lot actually) with my first semester University Malaya "formidable" examination. It was so awkward when my sister asked me if i can get all As for my examination and I just replied that I aim for pass only for certain subjects.

I just finished my examination today but my friends of other courses have completed theirs either yesterday or a couple of days ago, and this had made me no mood to do revision (just another excuse i give myself for being lackadaisical). Haha. This was basically what had happened throughout the day...

I wake up early- 7am (3hours sleep, cant sleep at night because insomnia) to prepare for my last paper- Fluid Mechanics. I had worn my outing shirt(black one) inside my white jacket (i like it very much, it is from ROMP, but quite many people have it) to the examination hall as I would go out straightaway with my friends after taking the paper. When I got the paper, I was like "gosh, I should have read more"( this is what i have told myself throughout the semester). Taking a few deep breaths, I told myself not to panic and continued to do the questions. I cant say that I simply do the paper, as I really tried my very best to remember all the concepts and formulas but just that my mind won't function well this day (nah! this is the attitude!). Never mind. I just kept tackling the questions until the time was up...(phew, finally...the moment that I have anticipated for so long time )..

After that, I met my friends at bus stop and we took taxi to Sunway Pyramid! The purpose I came here today was to watch the movie "2012" and went for ice-skating (many of my friends eventually were chickened out and just left me to play with another friend). Before we watched movie, we dined in a I like the 2012 very much. I never know I would enjoy so substantially of this genre of movie (normally i prefer watching comedy and animation). The chaotic sciences when the Earth was doomed with natural calamities were so real and there were several sciences that managed to bring my tears to the brim of my eyes!

Then, it was the "crucial" moment for us to make our "vital" decision of whether or not to ice-skate. Mr. K who told me that he wanted to play at the first place had changed his mind (like a girl changes clothes, wakaka) and decided to go shopping instead. While the other friends were also not so interested ,but ,fortunately there was still Mr. LW who supported my idea. Since we managed to borrow gloves from the other friends that did not play, therefore the entrance fee for the game was just RM13 per person. We played for about 2 hours (not including maintanence period). Haha. This was my second time of skating. This time it went quite smoothly. I managed to skate without having to hold on the support wall anymore. However, I still felled hard for 3 times during the game and causing my left side body to bruise now. Besides that, my feet are also blistering at several spots. It was diabolically excruciating when the wound came into contact with clean water when I bathed.

Afte the fascinating game, we went to meet our friends and dined in a Korean restaurant before heading back to our residential college.

The food/ movies/ game are rated as below:
1) Lunch (japanese restaurant) - 3.5/5 (just ok lo)
2) Movie (2012)---------------- 4/5 ( I like it very much)
3) Ice skating ------------------4/5 (nice but painful afterwards)
4) Dinner (korean restaurant) --3.5/5 (okok also)

And now it is time for me to pack and travel back to my lovely hometown! See ya!

Enjoying my holiday...wakaka...yeay!

Obsessed....

Hot Mariah Carey, the back of CD

Memoirs of an imperfect angel cover

Contents with Elle Magazine Booklet

Deluxe version and Malaysia version

Finally, I managed to get the Mariah Carey's latest album - Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. I was in a total obsession to get the cd. I went to Mid Valley for consecutively three days in the eager anticipation of buying the cd.

On the first day (saturday), I thought the album was already available in Malaysia ,but to my dismay, the shopkeeper told me that it would arrive on Sunday.

So, on the second day , still with high hope, I went to the shop to buy the album. Again I was told to wait for she(shopkeeper) was not sure when the album would reach on that day. So, I just ask if I could have the shop's phone number and she said it would be more convenient if she call me.

Eventually, on the third day (monday), when I was attending my class, my phone suddenly rang. I was so pleased to see that it was Speedy (the shop's name, i get the number from internet before the shop called me) that called me! The shopkeeper told me that the album has finally arrived in Malaysia and since today is the first launching day of the very new album, they are giving discount on every cd purchasing. I bought the deluxe version cd (RM35) which includes Exclusive Elle Magazine Booklet and a Malaysia Edition cd (RM25,not mine, my friend wanted me to help him buying the cd).

Haha...I know I am really obsessed with her! I have acted foolishly for three days!

2009 CC trip

My friends and me

View from the outside of my room's balcony

Second day's morning, Nasi lemak

Second day (beach, sea and seaside)

My group members

I just came back from CC trip and I am having my 1 week Raya break now...

Talking about the trip. Well, it was quite fun actually, though i cant say that i fully enjoy throughout the trip...

Below is the flow of events during CC trip...
I wake up at 4am to accompany MR.E to have our breakfast. I was so flabbergasted that he took my words so seriously that I wanted to have breakfast before going trip. Mr E took me there by riding his motorcycle. We had Fried Chicken Nasi Lemak as our breakfast at SS2 Indian food stall. The nasi was quite delicious for first couple of bites, but later it turned out to be just a so-so nasi for me.

After eating, we went back to our residential college and it was time for us to gather and wait for our bus to take us to our destination- Pulau Pangkor. We took some group photos before setting forth to our destination.

Arghh. As it was Raya Eve, many citizens had traveled back to their hometown, causing the road to jam diabolically that it took us about 7 hours to reach Pulau Pangkor. We had our stay in Pangkor Puteri Resort. The room was quite ok. It was big, the air-conditioning was cold, and the toilet was comfortable to use. After checking in, we went down to Dewan Puteri to listen to our director of this trip (Mr. SP). There was even a opening ceremony before the trip "officially" started. Mr. SP got the torch(fake torch made by paper) from Mr. XQ as an indication of the CCTrip spirit being passed from one generation to another younger generation. Mr.SP then revealed to us that the theme for this trip was "LOST". We were then separated into 8 groups based on 8 different kind of animals. My group was a "wolf" and I was chosen to be the group leader. After that, the AJK showed us some dances(according to the theme songs of the trip) that we needed to learn and dance during this 3days 2 night trip. The themes song chosen were "First Day by Yan-Zhi" and theme song from movie-"Hai Jiao Qi Hao". After dinner together, we started the game of the night- LOST. We were shown a video clip about a dispute amongst members of a family over the property left behind by Dad to his eldest daughter and we needed to find out who was the culprit of killing the eldest daughter. We headed to 4 different stations for different clues in order to complete the game. Since the game was based on a horror detective story, at some point, some of our group girl members(Man and Evon) were so startled that they broke down into tears. I was quite afraid too as the ambience was quite spooky. At last, after pondering over every details that we managed to find, we still failed to get the correct answer. We had another game before we say good night for the first night.

The next morning, we had NASI LEMAK and bread as our breakfast. The food was quite similar to the one that is prepared by Mak Cik in our college every morning. After that, we had another round of station game. We managed to win 2 stations in this round of game. However, our team was less fortunate in the afternoon when we were competing with the other groups at seaside for another station game. We loused up all the games and defeated badly by others. (Note: There are too many details to write, so i just summarise them into a few sentences and skip all the details).

At third day, we were given time to visit the island by our own before the trip ended. Me and my Penang friends had to leave the group earlier in order to take bus from Pulau Pangkor back to Butterworth Jetty. However, we missed the bus eventually and needed to buy new tickets to go back home.

There is so much thing to write that i dont know how to express them in words(probably my writing is getting worse). I am here to thanks all the seniors for organizing such an enjoyable trip!

.A state of tremulous excitement...

ORPHAN (background:other movie tickets that i have collected )

Da....I just(a couple of hours ago, not even a half day) mentioned about saving money. However, I went to watch "ORPHAN" straight away after being informed about the afternoon class cancellation.

The movie was not like those creepy or spooky films. But, the way the psycho main role- Esther plotted and killed can surely make your hair stand on end or scare out of your wits. She was a 33 year-old mentally-ill patient that had escaped from a psychiatric hospital and on the loose to seduce her dream guys. And, she would kill brutally the family of the guy victims who she failed to seduce or with anyone that made her felt being challenged.

The end part of the movie was the most horrendous and exciting at the same time. I can't help but keep squealing "Oh My God". I could feel myself trembling from head to toe. I barely could speak after the movie. My heart pounded so hard and my breath became short and fast. I even weak on my knees(seriously, i am not joking) that I had to call my friends to slow down their pace!

haha.. This was the first movie that managed to make me feel horrendously uncomfortable. But the story was definitely nice though....

A tiring day 2-9-2009

Me and my "lock"

Early morning photo shooting

.....I had to wake up very early this morning because Chinese Community (CC) had a photo shooting session for all the members. We had to wake up early because the they wanted to take the picture at dawn, as the lighting was better that time.....

The photo session was quite fun. We spent time together, taking group pictures ( all members, members in the same faculty, members live in the same state and some SS pictures). After the photo shooting, I had my breakfast and went to class then. I was quite happy to be informed that my Fluid Mechanics mid-term test has been postponed to next week which renders me more time to do revision.

After class at 4pm, I went out with my friend's house. And we had our dinner at Section 17 chinese food stalls. The food was so-so.

Back at my college, of course, it was the time for me to complete my auto-cad assignments. I brought my laptop down to Intellecture Square (someplace in my college) to do the assignments while having some nice pleasant chats with my seniors. I enjoyed talking with them!

After accomplishing my auto-cad, it was already 2am. I read the newly bought magazine before I went to bed.

It was quite a tiring day as I had to wake up so early that day and slept quite late that night without having forty winks in the afternoon.

Next topic about some trouble I am facing....

Well, now I am kind of plunging into some "financial crisis". Firstly, CC is organizing a Pulau Pangkor trip in this coming Raya Break and I have to pay RM140 for that.

Secondly, i am about to take keyboard class which I need to pay RM135 for 2 months fees and notes.

Thirdly, my classmate wants me to buy a "cute" t shirt from him which is quite captivating.

I am not sure if it is wise for me to buy all these items. I always say that I don't want to put more undue burdens to my family, but at the same time, I dont know how to save my money....

Haha...it is good if i am born with a golden spoon stuck in my mouth....

Something new, something old; something gone, something come.

Breakfast with family...

Chic mama, she influences me alot...

Happy birthday LK...

Rare picture taken with my family member, she is m sis....

Small gathering with old friends...

Finally my holiday is coming to its end.

I have enjoyed substantially throughout the holiday. It is not a good thing, as there is still a test waiting for me. Therefore, I hope I would not be lackadaisical anymore when I go back to my campus. I have enjoyed enough and it is time for me to work assiduously.

I am so delighted to meet my hometown friends again. Some of them are studying sedulously for their coming STPM, some have gone to private college, and the others start working already. They way we laughed, chatted, played during several gatherings this week has reminded me the moment we were crazy-ing around during my secondary school time...reminiscing now...

Besides that, there is not much change in my family. haha...there is nothing to write about for this part... just wish them will always be in the pink of health.

And after rethinking of how I had behaved for the last few weeks in UM, I realise that I have become a little bit emotional than before. I do not like the "emotional me". I dont like to be emotional. I dont want to let my friends down or be influenced by my emotions. If possible, I hope i can always stay happy and let other to see only the "happy side" of me. I am glad that I have met so many new friends (juniors+seniors) shortly after my arrival at UM. And I am really grateful how they care about me.

A Day of Charity

Good luck!

I am sure I need my luck lately...
I almost lost my matric card this week and if that happened, I would have to pay RM50 to replace it...But fortunately, it was found by my kmk friend (how coincidence).

Besides the little crisis, this week seemed to go dreary...
I have "cooled down", and my friends start asking me is there any problem with me..I have less gone down to "mamak" with my gang, and they think that I am secluding myself from them...well, i have to say, I do not forget you guys, I miss you guys too...

Today (2/8), I joined PBUM to pay a visit to a local orphanage and old folks home.. This was my very first experience stepping into these places. We visited the old folks home first. I did not do much things in there. I just listened and chatted occasionally with the "grandma" there. When she talked about her poignant experience and cried, I was actually kind of influenced by her. Tears began to brim in my eyes, I did not cry though.

In afternoon, we went to visit orphans. I was flabbergasted to know that the age of the children range from 18months to 21years old! The children thanked us by giving us their heartfelt performances. Haha. I have to be frank on this. I quite enjoyed seeing the girls ( indian + chinese secondary school girls) dancing the Indian Dance...We also celebrated the August children birthday too.

I must say that I enjoyed the visit. I realize how lucky I am with what I have now...
I hope I can share or give more in the future...Love you all!

Miss Piggy...

Of course, this is the so called "MISS PIGGY"

I had received a phone call from Miss Piggy a couple of days ago that she already came back from Russia. What a surprise! She is visiting KL now and today we went to Mid Valley to have some long-lost-friend-gathering( not really long time actually, just 11months).

By the time she reached at Mid Valley, I was gorging on my palatable chicken chop rice. We met at the food court. She does not change much after this 11 months. She is still a little bit corpulent (sorry miss. piggy). The only noticeable change of her is her hair getting longer and messier (hehe).

After having lunch, we went to shopping ( we did not buy any clothes in the end). At Jusco toy department store, we changed for some tokens and played the basketball shooting game. I was kind of addicted by the game. After buying some novels (miss piggy) and magazines (me), we went to watch Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. The movie was just "ok" for me. I still more enjoy reading the series than watching them in movies.

We had our rushing dinner at MacD(her cousin was ushering her to go back home) before bidding goodbye to each other.

Good luck to Miss Piggy and hope we can meet again soon.

Life In KL ...(UM)

This week wasn't a diabolical week for me. I got my phone repaired, bought a new laptop, got to know more new friends...

On Monday night (6/7/09), we went to Pasar Malam in ss2. There were myriad of scrumptious food. However, i was not gorging myself or eating voraciously as I am currently dieting.
Furthermore, I did not really have classes this week because most of my lecturers were not entering any of them. In addition, I am still quite confused with my timetable and the subjects that I have to take. At nights, i just hung out with my friends at Mamak stall to chit chat around.

And today (11/7), my friends and I went to Mid Valley. I found out Mr. K is a shopaholic, he buys anything he likes....We watched Ice Age 3 3D and i bought a black shirt at the end of the day.

PS. To my kmk friends (or my old friends)
I do not forget you guys just because i do not go out with you all. I still love you all. Trust me, haha.

The Unwelcoming KL

Life has been sucks since the first day i traveled alone to kl to further my studies at UM.
On the first day at KL, i was kind of lost in the town. I wanted to go Mid Valley but ended up missing the bus stop outside of Mid V, and needed to take bus again to that bus stop.
I watched Monster vs Aliens 3D there. It was my first experience to watch a 3D film with that "special spec". After doing some window shopping, I went out to try to catch a bus, but I just cant find any. So i decided to take a bus to the KL central(more buses there), but I stopped at the wrong station and ended up in an indian street. ok. I walked back to Mid V and took a taxi. I was cheated by the driver next. I pay RM36 for that damn short journey and had to hear all the blabbering throughout of journey. The unlucky things werent stopping there. At night when i tried to use my phone, it spoiled.
Well, the next day i had to go to UM to register and undergo the strenous orientation week. I had to suffer for the whole week. I was "forced" to listen to endless speeches by sitting on the stony floor and I just felt my a** becoming utterly flat. We (all the freshies ) were also punished to half stand (quite several minutes ) until my thighs started to quiver. The orientation week was ended yesteday (saturday) and i have my day free now.
I am going out with my sis and her bf to Digitall Mall to repair my handphone and to my astonishement, it "died" again when i tried to open an unknown file( indeed, curiosity kills the cat).
Now i m sitting beside window in Mac, blogging and waiting for my sis to get my phone repaired.

Happy Birthday To Me (19 Years-old Already)

I like to wish

...I looked ver fat...

My presents

My favourite novel series

15/6

Today was just like any other 364 days in a year.
No big surprises. I am not disappointed, but I like huge surprises.

Sharp at 12am of 15th, many sms was sent in. Many greetings, many replies. Haha. Recently I am so addicted in playing The Sims 2. I know The Sim3 is already available to play, but my pc's graphic card can't meet the requirement,sad....Anyway, I played until 5am and read the novel "Agel and Demon" before I went to sleep.

I woke up at 11.30am, mopped the house and later just realised that my mum had already done it. Never mind, not a big deal. After that, I turned on the computer, checked my friendster comments and continued playing The Sim2 again. *Sweat*
At 3.15pm, my friends dropped in to celebrate with me. They brought me some presents and a cake. It was quite awkward actually. I have to admit this. I am not a good host, I don't know how to serve my guests. Sorry friends.

Later we went to Jawi to eat laksa at that so called "eminent" shop. Still, I found the laksa there was just so-so only. Then, my friend drove me home. Yes, today they drove. I was the passenger!

I like to make birthday wishes. Hehe.

Back to
8/6
Me and my friends went to Penang to meet our dentist appointment. Later we went Gurney and we watched " Night at the museum 2". I slept half way through the movie as I did not sleep at all the other night. And finally, I found "Shopaholic and sister" and that had completed my shopaholic series collection.

One night in Auto-city

Cutting the birthday cake

Pulling out the candles with our mouth

Peng Hoong and me ( Happy Birthday)

Saturday ~Sunday(13~14/6)
I was quite happy to know that my "ipoh gang" was coming to Penang. Anyway, they will stay here until Monday (15/6).

After getting to know where there would go on the second day, I started to dilly-dally whether i should follow them or not. There were quite a few reasons that I must go and must not.
The Must-GO reasons:
1) They are from Ipoh, they rarely come here
2) They are my KMK friends
3) May be we would never have the chance to see each other after entering uiversity

The Must-not-go reasons:
1) I have no more money, i have to ask from my parents
2) My sister was going to use car during night
3) I had to take bus to Megamall first before my friend came to pick me up
4) I had to walk to the bus stop if i wanted to go with bus because no one was in home

I was so upset to think of the reasons. Why i have to go through all these just for an outing? I felt lazy and drowsy to contemplate the problem, and so i had my forty winks.
However, at night, my sister gave in. She went to tuition by carpooling her friend. So that means that I could drive to meet my friends.
So, after gussying up and asking for some money( so bad), I set forth to my destination-Autocity.

OH. Damn it. Upon arrival, the traffic was badly congested. And due to my poor parking skill, I had to drive rounds and rounds around there before I could find an empty space for my car. I met my friends at "Boston" and I ordered a plate of spaghetti and a cup of ribena lemon beverage. We were separated into two tables as there were about 16 all of us. The sad thing was we did not talk much at there. After eating, we went to stroll around the place before heading off to A Hai's new home.

There we celebrated my and Peng Hoong's(same birthday with me, younger than me for about 4 hours) birthday. They sang birthday song for us and as usual we wished before we cut the cake. Then, we just watched dvd before we said good-bye to each other.

And I arrived home, I just realised I forgot to pay Calvin for the food. So sorry Calvin, but I am quite sure we will meet again soon.

A Violinist In The Metro

Joshua Bell with his violin

Firstly before I start, I would like to say that the passage below is not my masterpiece. I copied it from my last term Matriculation Final English examination. I enjoy the story substantially, and I hope that you will like it too...

A man sat at a hustle bustle metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule. A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip - a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping continued to walk. A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly, he was late for work.

The one who paid the mos attention was a three-year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurrying, but the kid stopped to look at at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only six people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5million dollars. Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theatre in Boston and the seats averaged $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organised by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people. The research questions were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognise the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be : If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

Happy Mother's Day

The ice-cream cake with fruits on top

My Shopaholic collection

My Shopaholic collectionThe key chain

Yes, firstly I want to greet every mother "Happy Mother's Day"

When I woke up in the morning, my mum already beavered away at her kitchen to prepare meal for us (sweat, no holiday for her even today is mother's day). I greeted her happy mother's day and went on switching on my computer. Haha. I can't live without my computer.

We(my sisters and I) did not have anything big to celebrate with her. We just bought an Ice-cream cake for her. [ comment on the cake: a so-so cake, nothing special, as always I still feel disgusting with the fruits put on the top of the cake, hate the white creamy top; so overall I rated it 3marks out of 5]

HAHA....moving back to yesterday.

Yesterday, I went shopping(not really shopping, i just wanted to buy my novels and not interested in nothing else in the mall) with my sisters. I bought another 2 Sophie Kinsella novels -- Shopaholic Takes Manhattan( also known as Shopaholic Abroad ) and Shopaholic & Baby. Ok, that means I still have another 1 novel to collect to complete my Shopaholic series. I enjoy her novels profoundly. They are just so comfortable to read. You guys should collect them too. ^^

After that, I went to the basement hypermarket to but some Spaghetti ingredients and we headed home after buying various kind of sauces and the Spaghetti vermicelli.

At night, I had a small gathering with my old (secondary school ) friends at "培德校友会", a place that i havent been there for ages. The host of the gathering, kang xiang, gave the other 3 of us the Malacca souvenir, key chain and we went droning on and on until 10pm. No, it did not stop just like that. As I had to pick my sister up from tuition, so I suggested to them to go to chat with the teacher, Miss YYY ( our secondary school Math Teacher, a career succesful but lonely woman-.-) and they agreed to go to her house too. We chated until 11.30 pm and then I sent all of them back home. Haiz...why I always have to be my friends' driver? Can't they just give me rides too sometimes??

After coming back home, I started to cook spaghetti. Haha. It was my first time preparing it. It was not tasting good. [ comment on my spaghetti: boring, uninteresting, I give myself 2/5 ]. Haha. No pictures taken for the spaghetti for it did not look nice at all.

** sorry for the fonts, i have problem adjusting them

Happy Birthday Tiffany

Happy birthday to Tiffany. You are now 19 years old already.

Haha. I didn't really do out for a couple of days already, except sending my sisters to their tuition classes and fetching them back. It is because I am not so enthusiastic of going out these days. May be it is because I don't get any pocket money now and I want to become fairer. So the easiest way to save money and keep my skin fair is staying at home.

And today I went out again because of you Tiffany( not my girlfriend, don't misunderstand, she was my very intimate secondary school friend and we are now still close to each other). At 12pm, I went out to pick up my friends and then went to her house to give her a surprise. Haha. As always, I don't think it was a surprise at all. We are lousy in making surprises. You surely will notice your friends' weird actions during your birthday and so it is not surprise at all if they celebrate with you..

My friend had bought a chocolate cake for her which surprisingly was exactly similar to the one my mum bought 2 days ago and it is still in the fridge now. They even bought her a bra. After eating the cake and jelly in her home, we went to Jawi to eat Laksa (my most fave food)and according to rumours, the laksa sold here is very scrumptious. However, after tasting the laksa, it was proven that the rumours are wrong. It was not as delicious as the others said. It was just good. I gave it 3 marks out of 5. After that, I sent my friends back home. We were not in mood to go anywhere else as the weather was scorching.

Late in the evening, my friends and I went to dine out again (including Tiffany). We have our meal in a tea house. I ate a plate of spaghetti ( it is very delicious, Jess you better brush up your cooking skill), herbal egg (茶叶蛋)and French Fried. Gosh, it's really hard for me to control myself from eating so much lately. I just can't stop eating but I always say that i want to keep fit.

....Bla bla bla...
Anyway, happy birthday to Tiffany again..
Don't forget to celebrate my birthday. I want present too but please don't give me a bra....

One day in Penang

29 April
It was scalding the weather when I reached the nearest bus stop. After sometime, there was a woman came to ask me how much the cheapest fare to get to Butterworth. I was quite nervous talking to her as she spoke with very thick accent. Initially I thought she is a foreigner( she is an indian actually) but after we chatted for a while I realized she is a Malaysian too,33 years old. She even invited me to sit beside her and I just agreed. In the bus, she showed me her art work in her phone. haha. I wasnt quite interested as the phone resolution isnt quite good enough and the images was quite blurred but I dare not reject her and i just scrolled quickly to the last picture and returned her phone. We continued to chat along the journey and to be frank, I was quite anxious that she might be a fraud. haha. Silly right? So when I reached my destination, I quickly checked my purse and counted the money inside.. Phew,,,she wasnt a fraud..HAHA
In the shopping mall, I bought a game disc, a bottle of mineral water ( i like to drink), a novel (Shopaholic ties the knot). I was quite frustrated when I found out the whole series of Shopaholic books and I did not have enough money to buy them....
So, after that, I was quite down as i had to go to Penang Island with ferry and i needed to wait again. I think i had spent 3~4 hours on the public transportation. I met my dentist and he had my braces tightened again..Fortunately, it wasnt as painful as the last session which I still remembered that i contorted my face the moment i walked out of the clinic.
After the treatment, i went back home with the ferry again.

KL Trip

The chicken chop
The chock cake
Sunway Pyramid
The novel- confession of a shopaholic
Gathering at UKM
Phew...Finally i have finished my matriculation programme..
Finally i can slow down my pace again..Yahoo

Yep..This time I went to KL to enjoy my holiday and at the same time went to UKM for my architecture interview.

24/4
I headed to Parit Buntar to take bus to KL. It was a nice bus compared to the one I took back from KL after the trip. The bus was spacious, cool and clean. The bus started its journey to KL about 11.30am.
After approximately 5 hours, I finally arrived at KL Puduraya Bus Terminal. Fortunately it was a sunny day and I found my sister and his boyfriend right after I stepped into the terminal. We walked cross a few blocks and took bus to go to my sister's place at PJ. After that, we have our dinner at the nearby stalls(dai pai dong). To be frank, I prefer food in Penang.(ya, indeed it is a food sanctuary)

25/4
I woke up very early in the morning. My sister woke up early too to prepare sandwiches and a hard-boiled egg for me. Haha. It has been long time I do not eat such a simple yet nice breakfast.
Then, I took bus to KL Central and KTM to UKM, at Bangi. HAHA..Thanks again to Calvin ( i dunno how to spell his name), my sister's friend to send me into the campus. He is really a nice guy, as he even offered to drive me back to the KTM station after I had my architect interview in UKM. Talking about the interview, well, it started with drawing. All the interviewees were required to draw a structure/ building based on the 4 pictures given ( a tree, a lady wearing some sort of clothes that look like batik, a car and 2 dolphins). I had drawn a fountain based on these pictures and I heard that quite some people drawing that. We answered 2 questions too.
After that, the interview started. Haha. I was gald that I had friends (KMK) to accompany me before the interview. The 4 of us were like "sampat", chatting happily and somehow quite loudly too. Haha. I think our group got much attention from the others. I was the first to be interviewed amongst them. I was quite nervous at first, and I tried to relax myself by talking with the Malay girl outside the interview room. haha. Phew again. The interview was just like a friendly talk.
After the interview, I went to Mid Valley with my formal shirt still on. Initially, I wanted to watch a movie, but after I came close to the counter, I saw there were already throng of people waiting there. Frustrated to see so many people, so I canceled my plan. Then, I just did window shopping and watch the fashion show. I bought a novel "Confession of a Shopaholic" in MPH before I went back to my sister place.

26/4
I had asked my online friends out to Sunway. I was quite surprise to 2 of them. Gosh, they are just too tall for my age. I never have same age friends that grow so tall. They took their lunch at KFC and I just have a cup of Pepsi as I was full that time. After that, we went to skate. haha. Zhi was quite good as he never skating before, but he pick up the skill faster than the other 2 of us. I fell down two times during the skating. Not bad. We played for about 2 hours, then we went to window shopping. At 6pm, i bid my farewell to them as my sis wanted me to go back early.

27/4
I met Zhi and Ben again today and we shopped around Time Square area. I did not buy anything because I was saving up my trip money for my dentist appointment...haiz... We went for movie in Time Square. At there, Zhi's friend, Rabbi,t was waiting there already and I did not know that he brought another friend. So what? Who cares? I was turned down by the others to watch "Mall Cop" and they chose to watch " The Uninvited". Actually I was quite anticipating to watch that movie too. The movie started, well, I think quite interesting, but the ending, damn, it was horrible, not the kind of ending I expected. After watching the movie, we just walked around the shopping malls. At 7pm, I took monorail and went back to my sister place again.
At night, my sis, me and her bf were having our dinner at Secret Recipe in Jaya One. We ordered 3 plates of chicken chop and 1 piece of chocolate cake. I quite enjoyed the ambient inside the shop. I was clean and cozy. Iwould give 7/10 for the chop I ate. The meat was quite hard. We took several photos there before we left the place.

28/4
The last day I was in KL. I woke up around 9am, turned on the computer and started to pack my luggage. I have tuna bread today. After taking bath, it was almost time I needed to go to the Puduraya Terminal again. I said goodbye to my sis and I set forth back to my home.......

Good bye KL.. Hope to go there again soon
