Endless tales...: Being in Ipoh part 2

This post is mainly on the place I visited over the weekend. Beware, it's gonna be picture-ful post!

南香蛋挞- Nam Hiong egg tart

One of the recommended (by friends) food I must have in Ipoh. I like the egg tart because its crispy crust and it is filled with a thick soft, aromatic layer of egg. You may remember I did mention this egg tart in my previous entry and wondering why I talk about it again this time. Aha. The purpose of taking this pic is that I want to show my mom how the scrumptious egg tart looks like - the thickness of the crust and its filling, as she is learning to make egg tart now! oh Nom~Nom~Nom~

Bear Tree

A tree that bears the resemblance of bear head which can be found outside Kellie's Castle. It took me quite some times to figure out where is the bear head. Can you spot the bear head?

Attraction point: Come here to take some pictures with the partly ruined castle. The wine cellar is dark and exciting!!

Then, we stopped at Sauk and had the chance to taste the local food.

I like these fish balls. They are springy as you sink you teeth in them!

MEH...it is so so...I believe my mom's cooking is way better than their SIGNATURE tofu.

After having the ~~delicious (~~I dont think it worth the money and effort to travel this far into the secluded village just to eat) lunch, we went to Lenggong, Perak to visit an Archeology Gallery.
